Quezonian Donated to Typhoon Victims

The Quezon Association of the Midwest (QAM) and the Quezonian Foundation Inc (QFI) donated $500.00 to the Philippine National Red Cross through The Philippine Consulate General Office- Chicago for the victims of typhoon in the Bicol Region, Philippines. The donation was presented to Consul Roberto Bernardo on January 3, 2007.

In October 2006, the Quezonian sent several boxes of relief goods to the victims of typhoon “Melenyo” in the towns of Mulanay, San Narciso and San Francisco, province of Quezon. The boxes contained non-perishable food, new and previously used clothing, shoes, blanket and other hygiene needs.
